BBK Bilbao Music Legends Fest

"The festival divides its line-up by days with the confirmation of the Anglo-American band THE PRETENDERS as the headliner for Friday. The band led by the charismatic Chrissie Hynde, with more than four decades of career and great hits such as "Back on the Chain Gang", "I'll Stand by You" or "Don't Get Me Wrong", began its career leading the new wave, and immediately rode a wave of popularity during which it evolved to new sounds that have brought the band to the present day, occupying the front line of the great pop rock bands of the last decades.

On the same day, the JAYHAWKS (Minnesota), who with their alternative country rock is considered one of the biggest and best bands in American popular music, and the already announced THE SCREAMIN' CHEETAH WHEELIES (Tennessee), with their classic and energetic southern rock (with an exclusive date in Spain in 2024), and the power trio SUSAN SANTOS, with Susan herself leading a band of the best blues-rock, will be performing.

The second day of the festival will feature, as previously announced, performances by DEEP PURPLE (UK), creators of great rock classics, who have built up a legion of fans spanning several generations, and CANNED HEAT, a legendary blues-rock/boogie band formed in Los Angeles in 1965. In addition to these first confirmations for Saturday, there will be performances by BLUES PILLS (Sweden and USA), with the powerful voice of Elin Larssons fronting the rock-blues band, and the Basque rock musician PETTI (Bera) with a career that includes the release of 13 albums full of songs rich in nuances, tinged with blues and charged with electricity.

In addition, as usual, the festival will reserve the outdoor terrace Voodoo Child for performances by local bands. This year's line-up includes: Arnau & The Honky Tonk Losers, Kinki Boys, Nevadah, Sotomonte, The Ribbons and Ziin & The Melody Breakers, thus closing the line-up for this year's edition.
